It has been reported that two robbers armed with knives boarded a Singapore-flagged tanker whilst underway in the Philip Channel, Singapore Strait. The ships crew discovered the robbers on the poop deck who made their escape when the alarm was raised. The Vessel Master reported that one crew member was injured and nothing was reported stolen. The vessel did not require assistance and continued her passage to Singapore. The CSO later stated that the injured crew member was conveyed to a hospital in Singapore and assessed to be in a stable condition.
