It has been reported that a robbery has occurred on a Liberia-flagged bulk carrier whilst underway in the Phillip Channel, Singapore Strait. The duty crew spotted eight unarmed perpetrators in the steering gear room. The Master reported that engine spares were stolen. The crew are reported safe, and the vessel is continuing to her next port of call in Singapore.
