It has been reported that an attempted robbery occurred on a Panama-flagged bulk carrier whilst underway in the Philip Channel, Singapore. The crew spotted six perpetrators in the engine room, one of whom was armed with a knife, which resulted in the robbers escaping. Nothing has been reported stolen. The Master has reported that all crew are safe and, that the vessel is continuing her voyage to Singapore.
