It has been reported that a robbery occurred on a Bahamas-flagged bulk carrier whilst underway in the Phillip Channel, Singapore Strait. Duty crew spotted three unarmed perpetrators in the engine room which resulted in the robbers making their escape with stolen engine spares. The Master confirmed the vessel did not require any assistance and continued its voyage to Singapore.
