It has been reported that an attempted robbery occurred on a Marshall Island-flagged bulk carrier whilst underway in the Philip Channel, Singapore Strait. Three perpetrators onboard a small boat attempted to board the vessel, but the crew raised the alarm, and the perpetrators fled. Nothing has been reported stolen and the crew are reported safe.
