It has been reported that an attempted robbery occurred on a Comoros-flagged LPG tanker whilst underway in the Phillip Channel, Singapore Strait. Duty crew spotted five robbers, armed with metal rods, in the engine room, resulting in the perpetrators escaping. The crew were reported safe and nothing has been reported stolen. The vessel is continuing its voyage to China.
