It has been reported that there has been a robbery onboard a Liberian-flagged tanker whilst underway in the Phillip Channel, Singapore Strait (exact position not specified). Members of the crew observed a number of perpetrators on the poop deck and later, a high-speed craft approached the stern but was not detectable on the radar. A search was later conducted, and it was discovered that twelve main engine fuel injection valves had been stolen. All crew were accounted for, and there were no injuries.
