It has been reported that irregular activity occurred towards a Portugal-flagged passenger vessel whilst underway, approximately 35nm East of Hanish islands, Yemen. Two small craft were sighted as they turned on their lights within 0.5nm from the vessel. Then at 20:30 UTC in position 13°38.30N 042°25.09E the vessel heard and spotted an aircraft that was hovering, however it could not be established if the aircraft was a helicopter or a drone due to darkness. The crew are confirmed safe.
