It has been reported by the UKMTO that an attack on a vessel has occurred approximately 25nm South of Mocha, Yemen. Clearwater have obtained information that the vessel involved was a Liberia-flagged bulk carrier. Initial reports state that a projectile splashed into the water 150m from the vessel at 13:44 UTC followed by a second projectile splashing into the water at 14:40 UTC. UPDATE: Further information has been released stating that at 16:37 UTC the Captain reported a third explosion in close proximity to the vessel. The vessel and crew are reported as safe and the vessel is proceeding to its next port of call.
