It has been reported that an attempted robbery occurred on a Singapore-flagged bulk carrier whilst underway in the Singapore Straits. Duty crew spotted two robbers in the engine room which resulted in the perpetrators escaping empty handed. The crew were reported as safe and accounted for. The Master confirmed no assistance was required, and the vessel is continuing her voyage to Taiwan.
