It has been reported that there has been an attempted robbery onboard a Malta-flagged bulk carrier while it was underway in the Phillip Channel, Singapore Strait. Crew observed one unarmed perpetrator in the engine room. The Master reported that all crew were safe and accounted for, and that nothing had been stolen. The vessel did not require any assistance and continued her voyage to Singapore.
