Open-sources have reported that a Palau-flagged general cargo vessel and a Belize flagged cargo vessel have both suffered collateral damage following a missile attack on the port of Odesa, during which a grain warehouse, cargo cranes and machinery were also damaged (exact time and location not specified). The attack on the port resulted in a port worker being killed and eight others injured. Reports state that Russian forces were targeting the Odesa port infrastructure in the attack. The Palau flagged cargo vessel also suffered damage in a previous attack on 7th October 2024; CWD Notification 002- (Oct 24) refers.
