It has been reported that there has been a robbery onboard a Cook Islands flagged tanker whilst underway in the Eastbound Lane of the traffic separation system in the Phillip Channel, Singapore Strait. The crew sighted five perpetrators armed with knives. The Master reported that all crew are safe and accounted for and that a quantity of tools had been stolen. The vessel did not require any assistance and continued her transit to the next port of call.
