It has been reported by the Master of a Liberia-flagged tanker that an Unmanned Aerial Vehicle described as grey blue in colour and approximately 10m in length, approached and came within 10 to 20m of the vessel's funnel before leaving the area. The vessel was drifting approximately 224 nm Southwest of Karachi, Pakistan. The crew mustered and the armed guards on board continued to stay on watch. No further unmanned aerial activity has been seen. The vessel and crew are reported safe.
