It has been reported that there has been an attempted robbery onboard a Panama-flagged bulk carrier while underway in the Phillip Channel, Singapore Strait. Crew sighted five perpetrators in the engine room, one was in possession of a suspected firearm, and another was armed with a knife. The Master informed that all crew are safe, no injuries were sustained, and nothing was stolen. The vessel continued her transit to the next port of call. |
