It has been reported by the UKMTO that a vessel has been attacked approximately 70nm Northwest of Saleef, Yemen (exact position not specified). The authorities are currently investigating. UPDATE 1: The Master has reported that that the vessel was hit by two unknown projectiles and damage control procedures are underway. A third explosion was also reported in close proximity to the vessel. There are no casualties onboard, and the vessel is proceeding to its next port of call. UPDATE 2: Further information has been received that the Panama-flagged tanker was struck by missiles, the first hit the port side aft, followed by a hit to the port side. Fire has been observed onboard the tanker and there are two skiffs nearby. UPDATE 3: The crew have been reported as safe and the tanker has been able to continue to its next port of call without further incident.
