It has been reported that a Marshall Islands flagged Bulk Carrier was approached by twelve small fast craft, 13nm Southwest of Al Mukha, Yemen (exact position not specified).The twelve small craft consisted of a mixture of fast boats and smaller kayak-type boats, some of which were uncrewed. The twelve small boats remained close to the bulk carrier for approximately one hour before leaving the area. The closest point of approach for the small boats was 1.5nm from the vessel. The ship is reported safe and is proceeding to its next port of call. Authorities are investigating.
