It has been reported by the UKMTO that a vessel has been attacked 27nm South of Mocha, Yemen (exact position not specified). The authorities are currently investigating. UPDATE 1: The Master has informed the UKMTO that two explosions occurred in close proximity of the vessel. No damage has been reported, the crew are reported safe and the vessel is proceeding to the next port of call. UPDATE 2: Clearwater has received a further report stating that the vessel involved was a Cyprus-flagged general cargo vessel. The report also states that one of the explosions was the result of a missile detonating approximately 30 metres above the cargo vessel's superstructure.
