| It has been reported that the deck officer onboard a tanker anchored at Chattogram Anchorage, Bangladesh identified a small radar target close to the vessel. Watchkeepers were then deployed and sighted two persons on a small boat preparing to throw a grappling hook and rope towards the ship. The alarm was raised, crew mustered and fire hoses were activated. This activity caused the perpetrators to abandon the attempted boarding and they moved away. | |||||
