It has been reported that there has been an attempted robbery on a Singaporean-flagged tanker whilst anchored at Kandla OTB Anchorage, India. Up to ten perpetrators armed with long knives, an axe, and steel rods, gained access to the vessel by climbing the starboard manifold area. Duty crew informed the Master, and the alarm was raised which resulted in the perpetrators escaping with ships stores.
