| It has been reported that a cargo vessel was attacked whilst anchored near buoy 27, Douala anchorage, Cameroon. A number of pirates were able to board the vessel and initial reports are stating that six crew members have been kidnapped. The Cameroon navy and Bataillon Intervention Rapide have been alerted of the incident. Clearwater will continue to investigate and will update this alert upon receipt of confirmed information. UPDATE 1: It has been confirmed that five crew members were kidnapped. UPDATE 2: All five crew members have now been released. | |||||
